Initial Navigational Aids Flight Inspection (ICAO/STP)

Introduction

• The course aims to provide the NAVAIDs flight inspectors with knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform the flight inspection effectively and efficiently in accordance with ICAO Annex 10, vol 1 and ICAO Doc. 8071 Vol. I, and ECAR Part 170.

Objectives

• Identify the flight inspection profiles for NAVAIDs calibration
• Apply flight inspection per-flight procedures.
• Identify the flight inspection profiles for NAVAIDs calibration. 
• Implement flight inspection procedures. 
• Produce the flight inspection report.

Prerequisite

• 2 years’ experience in NAVAIDs operation and maintenance 
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
