
Introduction
- The course provides the aeronautical cartographers with the required knowledge , skills and attitudes for the production of aeronautical charts based on GIS methodology and tools in accordance with ICAO annex 4 , ICAO Doc 8697 aeronautical chart manual and ECAR 311
Objectives
After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Describe GIS concepts and fundamentals
- Identify the two types of GIS data structure.
- Conduct simple spatial analysis using GIS software.
- Develop Aeronautical Charts based on GIS Methodology and tools
