Introduction

• Refresh and update knowledge, skills and attitude of the participants in provision of approach Control procedural Services according to ICAO SARPs and the related Civil Aviation Regulations.

Objectives

• Provide standard separation to IFR flights in approach control zone
• Control traffic executing Instrument Approach Procedures.
• Coordinate flight movements to adjacent ATS units.
• Control and manage arriving and departing traffic within the approach control zone
• Control traffic in emergency or abnormal situation.
