Course Details

Introduction

The course aims to provide the aeronautical cartography specialists with knowledge, skills and attitudes required to develop, analyze and evaluate all types of aeronautical charts effectively and efficiently in accordance with:

•  ICAO Aeronautical Chart Manual, Doc. 8697, third edition, 2016.
• ICAO Annex 4 - Aeronautical Charts (Amendment No. 62 dated 29/07/24) 11th edition, July 2009

Objectives

 Upon successfully completed the course, participants will be able to:   

•  Identify the digital data sources used in the chart’s productions      
• Produce some types of aeronautical charts using drawing tools.
• Apply quality assurance procedures on the production Aeronautical Charts
