Introduction

This course aims at providing Aviation Training managers, Safety Professionals and CAA Inspectors with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to audit and assess competency-based training in accordance with ICAO Standards.

Objectives

Upon Successfully passing the course , participants will be able to :

• Describe the training concepts and fundamentals
• Conduct formal application of Competence Based Training
• Review CBT documentation
• Assess and certify proposed CBT program, and
• Develop an Oversight procedures for the approved CBT program
• Maintain and update CBT training Programs

• Module 0: Introduction
• Module 1: Training Concepts
• Module 2: Formal Application Phase on CBT Program.
• Module 3: Reviewing CBT Documentation
• Module 4: Assessment and Certification of CBT Program
• Module 5: Developing a Surveillance procedures for CBT program.

Prerequisite

2 Years experience in the field of aviation training
