
Introduction
- This Course aims to provide Aeromedical Examiners with competencies required to perform Class 1 Medical Assessment in accordance with ICAO Doc. 8984 and ECAR Part 67.
Objectives
After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Explain physiology, psychology and clinical practice in relation to aerospace medicine
- Identify the Medical Status of Class 1 Aviation professionals
- Identify Cockpit Environment and Assess Applicants with Physical Impairment in Relation to Cockpit Tasks
- Evaluate Human Factors in Aviation and their effects on aviation performance
- Analyze Incidents and accidents from the medical perspectives
- Assess health risks related to the "tropical medicine diseases" in different geographical areas.

Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of “Aeromedical Examiner Course: Basic”
- English Language Proficiency level 4 OR Equivalent
