Introduction

A 10-day course on Business Development in the Aviation Industry is designed to equip aviation professionals with the strategic, commercial, and analytical skills needed to drive growth across airports, airlines, and aviation service providers.

The course introduces participants to the structure of the global aviation market, highlighting the roles of key stakeholders and regulatory frameworks such as International Civil Aviation Organization standards and guidance. It focuses on identifying revenue opportunities, developing business models, and enhancing competitiveness in a rapidly evolving and highly regulated environment.

Throughout the program, participants explore core areas including route development, airport-airline partnerships, aviation marketing, passenger experience, and non-aeronautical revenue streams (retail, real estate, and concessions). Practical case studies and scenarios are used to demonstrate how data-driven decision-making and strategic planning can improve financial performance and operational sustainability.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to design effective business development strategies, evaluate investment opportunities, and support sustainable growth aligned with global aviation trends and industry best practices.
