Introduction

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

  • Extract the Purpose Of An Aeronautical Information Service (AIS).
  • Characterize the Information Handled By AIS.
  • Recognize the Basic Information.
  • Respond to the Information of a Temporary Nature and of Short Duration.
  • Explain the Modes Of Communication.
  • Describe the Submission, contents, and changes of the FPL, RPL.
  • Demonstrate the Closing of FPL.
  • Respond to ICAO new FPL.
  • Draw approach to the ATS MSG.
  • Respond to the MSG of FPL.
  • Extract the main objectives of NOTAM.
  • Characterize the NOTAM format.
  • Notify the PIB in general.
  • Describe the ARO location.
  • Respond to the post-flight information.

  • Module 01: AIS General
  • Module 02: Identification of Warning Areas
  • Module 03: Submission of FPL.
  • Module 04: Item 10 and Item 18 of FPL
  • Module 05: Self-Briefing Facilitations

Prerequisite

  • Participants should be at least active AIS Officers working in AIS Units.
