Objectives

By the end of this course, the participants will:

  • Understand the global SAR policy.
  • Demonstrate general awareness of executing communications during a SAR operation.
  • Demonstrate familiarization with all the stages of the different SAR incidents.
  • Perform all the duties of the Search Mission Coordinator (SMC).
  • Plan for both Inland / Maritime SAR operations.
  • Use different assets as SRUs Air / Maritime.
  • Provide emergency assistance in different situations.
  • Conclude and document SAR operations in order to improve and enhance performance.
