Annex 14 Vol. I - Aerodrome Design and Operation

Introduction

  • This course provides you with an understanding of ICAO Annex 14 (Aerodromes) specifications on the planning and design of aerodromes and their operations.

Objectives

At the end of course trainees will be able to:

  • Describe the SARPS contained in Annex 14 2) Implementation of SARPS.
  • Apply the Standards and Recommended Practices for Lighting, Signs and Markings on an aerodrome;
  • Share experience with experts on the different options to implement and further improve best practices.
  • Identify solutions to challenges presented regarding aerodrome design and operations, encountered in real-life situations.
