Objectives

Upon Successfully completed the course , Participants will be able to:

  • Identify the main concept of Flight inspection.
  • Identify NAVAIDS theory of operation.
  • Understand the International Flight Inspection Regulations.
  • Identify Flight profiles for enroot facilities (VOR,TACAN and DME) calibration .
  • Identify Flight profiles for approach facilities (VOR,TACAN and DME) calibration .
  • Identify Flight profiles for Landing facilities ( ILS and PAR) .
  • Identify Flight profiles for Approach Light Systems and visual Landing Aids ( VASI / PAPI )
  • Understand important aspects Like (CRM and Mission Planning)
  • Define the duties and responsibilities of all involved parties .
  • Highlight common traps
  • Take the necessary action to avoid Traps.
  • Review the flight inspection regulation
  • Prepare and implement flight inspection

  • Module 05: Flight inspection Standard Operation procedures.

Prerequisite

  • Shall include at least a commercial pilot licence with instrument rating.
  • Alternatively, an equivalent authorization from the State meeting the Annex 1 knowledge and skill requirements for issuing the commercial pilot license and instrument rating is acceptable.
