Heliport Design and Certification

Introduction

Objectives

·        Provide the participants with theoretical and practical knowledge of heliport planning, and Certification\ acceptance process; this course provides the participants with an understanding of the fundamental principles of heliport design according to the international civil aviation organization regulations.

·        Understand the description; applicability of Annex 14 V II to the International Civil Aviation Chicago convention

·        Implement Annex 14 specifications related to surface-level heliports and elevated heliports.

·        Gain knowledge on how to configure, dimension, and design the fundamental infrastructure elements of these types of heliports.

Understand and define the heliports certification/acceptance process
