ICAO - Civil Aviation Master Planning


Introduction

  • The course provides senior and middle managers of State Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs) and other aviation stakeholders with the competencies required to develop, implement, and update a Civil Aviation Master Plans (CAMP), including the alignment with national development plans and the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in accordance with the relevant ICAO provisions.

After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Plan for management and operation of CAMP
  • Identify strategies to ensure sustainable economic and financial development of the civil aviation system

Prerequisite

Entry Requirements:

  1. Management experience in State’s CAAs.
  2. Good oral and written command of the English language.
  3. Computer literacy using contemporary software programs.
  4. Completion of the Introductory Online Module.


Primary Target Population:

  • Senior and middle managers overseeing operations in the main technical divisions/sections/departments related to Civil Aviation Master Plan (CAMP) development, implementation, and update within State Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs).


Secondary Target Population:

  • Senior and middle managers within State CAAs, airports, airlines, and air navigation service providers who provide support for CAMP development, implementation, and update
  • Senior and middle managers within State ministries responsible for the development, approval, and integration of Civil Aviation Master Plans (CAMPs), national development plans, and the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals
