United ATS has developed a Table Top Simulator that replicates an ICAO standard airport with all the necessary features to simulate real air traffic and movement on airport ground. This simulator provides comprehensive training for ATC and airport trainees in both normal and emergency procedures. The main objective of the Table Top Lab is to help trainees become familiar with various aspects of airport operations, including aerodrome layout markings, standard and nonstandard traffic circuits, ICAO standard phraseology, collision avoidance, runway and wake turbulence separation, coordination with other facilities, strip marking, preparing ATC clearances, and handling emergency situations. Upon completion of the lab session, trainees will have a thorough understanding of all these aspects of airport operations.
